On March 15^th, 2012, Harbin Turbine Auxiliary Engineering Co. Ltd signed contract with CH2M Hill, Ltd, to supply condensers for WDES Project, USA. It is the first time for HTC to bring its auxiliary Equipments into USA power market.

 

CH2M HILL Co., Ltd was founded in 1946, with headquarter at Denver, Colorado, USA. It has over 23000 staff in more than 200 offices throughout the world. With annual turnover over 6 billion US dollars, it is a large global engineering corporation in internationally advance level.

WDES is a combined cycle project. The gas turbine will be supplied by Siemens Germany, and the steam turbine will be supplied by Alstom France, equivalent to 1 x 300MW unit. Altogether, 6 companies bided for the condenser of this project, including 4 USA power equipment manufacturers. Thanks to its strength and earnestness, Harbin Turbine Auxiliary Equipment Engineering Co. Ltd. became an approved supplier for CH2M HILL. On February 28^th, 2012, it signed with CH2M HILL the Letter of Intent of condenser supply contract for WDES.

The Award of condenser supply contract for WDES project marks the first step of HE power equipment to USA markets.
